Talk on Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong – On and Off Stage
Veteran Master Chan Kwok-yuen is an unsung hero who has been dedicating his whole life and career to the Cantonese Opera for six decades. Master Chan will join us for an exclusive talk to share his eye-witness accounts in tracing the styles and trends that define the Cantonese opera costumes in Hong Kong and offering us a rare glimpse into the inner workings on and off stage with a host of tales and anecdotes.

Enrolment:Audiences will be admitted 15 minutes before the programme commences. Limited seats on a first-come, first-served basis.
Blueprint of Happiness – Cyanotype Workshop
Cyanotype was a way of making prints before printing technology was well developed. The workshop instructor will introduce its principles and teach the participants how to make blueprints with auspicious Chinese motifs. The participants will also make their own blueprints of happiness with self-designed motifs.
Time:Session 1 : 2:00pm - 3:30pm、Session 2 : 4:30pm - 6:00pm
